Tulare County Symphony Holiday Concert

The Tulare County Symphony’s annual holiday concert is a treat for the whole family with traditional holiday tunes such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Hallelujah Chorus” and a different take on “Nutcracker”—the Les Brown version. The concert will be performed twice—at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The concert traditionally features local musicians. This year includes Brandon Pasion, a popular hit last year, who will sing “Cradle in Bethlehem” and “Jingle Bells” with an arrangement done by the Brian Setzer Orchestra. The El Diamante choir will sing “O Holy Night” and “Star Carol.” The children’s choir will perform “My Christmas Tree.”

An annual treat is always a young singer with Tulare Encore Kids belting out “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas,” this year sung by Bella Tanck.

Tickets are $30 to $39.50 at the symphony office, 208 W. Main Street, Suite D, Visalia, downstairs in Montgomery Square. Student prices are $10. Tickets are also available at 732-8600 or go to www.tularecountysymphony.com.
